finally had ayeesha on web cam

it was very nice seeing her ., she is in malaysia and is planning to spend the new years eve at the revolving tower in twin towers...good eh...and will be visiting the sky bridge...whoa!!

was able to show all the pups and the devils cleo,goggles,rusty to her...awesome technology this web cam !!!

b.srini is recovering from his brain aneuerysm. he had to undergo a brain surgery as well,i had a very troubled sleep last night., i had been from 1 class with him., and this morning siva kumar sent a message saying he is recovering...and is off the ventilator....really i did send a prayer strong one fr him .,

thinking of doing a midnight meditation., lets see...

THEN TO my own home activities

cleo delivered to 5 pups...(but one was still born sadly) on 1st dec morning at 3.15 am...

and then the day fr goggles was delayed...so had to rush her fr a last minute ultra sound...well i was the most anxious it appeared....as goggles delivered on 8th morning to 6 pups...and the last born was extremly thin and was not at all taking milk...as per the vets advice i gave it paracetomol drops...then there was a little improvement...while repeatedly i was assit feeding him from the mom.., yet the next day the 11th morning he took to the heavens doors...i buried his remains in the banks of cooum under the biggest aala maram,thats right accross my house !!

it looks as though gautam's house will be soon sold off...

obama visits india

it was heartening to see the first lady and the president of america OBAMA visit mumbai and delhi on a three day visit and ,he gave a speech at the parliment yasterday .,where he said US will back india for a permanent UNSC seat..that was a wow to me

world cup football 2010

spain won a dramatic game...they played well...defended well....and iniEsta scored the lonely goal at the extra time second half....it was good goal....but then at the time nederlands were reduced to 10 men..one red card....so thats how it ended today...THANK YOU FIFA.....THANK YOU SOUTH AFRICA :-)

my tattoo

rishi and his friend came home and did a tattoo on my right arm....it was a egyptian design with 'leo' symbol at the center...wow...wow...it really was burning all through the 3 hours (when i tried a temporary one a few weeks back with the same design it was fine...but maaan this was so different IT BURNS GUYS...they started at 8.p.m..and when finished the time was 11 p.m (cost was Rs 1.7k)

gautam stayed back to help and comment critically....ayeesha came a little earlier than usual from office and liked the tattoo design....after dropping gautam at the bus stop to make him get back to pondy....i bought a tube of lignocaine get(local anesthetist)called riaz to check on the application of other creams ..if needed...well seems there was none....had to apply this to reduce or numb the burning/pain to sleep

my feeling was this...as one gets to have the tattoo much under the arm(high up near the arm pit) it does pain a lot...the best is this...try a small design for the first time...best is shoulders..or chest

germany was too good for argentina...when argentina also lost...i was washed out

spain was awesome

holland was simply a team with so much luck and energy...they have 100 percent result so far in this WC

uruguay was the toughest team to come to worldcup

south korea...japan....ghana played some awesome football


germany at the semifinals played exactly like a bunch of fellows with clay feet and lost to spain...1 - 0

uruguay played like a true champion.....but was really unlucky and lost to holland 2-3

so awaiting the worldcup finals....on super sunday 11th july...when spain meets nederlands

i enjoyed watching all the matches...the telecast t.v timing was so good ...thanks FIFA..... and more than everything ,the south african puplic were so so good to make this event a great success.....noise of vuvuzelas is another thing to mention...it was annoying...but cmon "W C IS NOISY EVENT"

oh..there was one another charecter...paul the octopus in german zoo....who has been predicting on match results from quater finals...and had a success rate of 100 percent on all the six matches he chose as winner...including lose of germany to spain in the semifinals...hahahaha

i have been following almost all the matches...leaving a few off...due to my own opininon of fast or good team..etc;

loved to see maradona...messi..on the 42 inch lcd t.v...it was too good a coverage...and FIFA...all thanks to them as the telecast to india by ESPN ...really all the matches were so good...would love to see BRAZIL...ARGENTINA for the finals.....but loved ghana,south korea,spain,germany,ivory coast,denmark,england,oranjieeee(nederland)...south africa ,portugal :-)

second earth quake experience

i was not prepared for this...yesterday....i was watching world cup foot ball match ...after my long talk with selina,...and i was about to shut down the computer and go back to watching t.v....it happened....for a moment , I WAS CONFUSED....THE COMPUTER,TABLE AND THE CHAIR ALL WERE SHAKING.....AND THEN THE CROWS STARTED TO CAWWWW....i was not very sure...then i realised..OH..ITS A EARTHQUAKE!!!!

i ran out from the computer to the balcony to see what was happening..there was not a soul on the road..but the crows were cawwing like mad for a long time....i went back and changed my status in face book and i wrote "

i felt a mild earth quake....or was i ...it lasted a few secs !!!

Yesterday at 1:05am · so i experienced my second earth quake....hahaha

new arrivals

cleo...and her 3 devils...they are a day old...and cleo's change in attitude surprised me a lot...seeing life at close quaters,was a wow...though i have had many dogs...this is my first expereience at whelping..man till yesterday morning i was going nuts....didnt know what to do...infact i had to see a web page to get info on how to cut the umblical chords of the puppies...lol

yes ayeesha was the real hero...she had picked up cleo from the shelter nearly 10 years back...and when cleo was ready for whelping yesterday afternoon...it was ayeesha who was called to assist,as i was away to meet riaz,she (ayeesha) called me over phone to tell me that she saw cleo going to labour..and by the time i could be back...the first pup had arrived....and ayeesha was helping cleo to clean up....cleo did all the licking and cleaning...one after the other the pups arrived...she did this job so beautifully...and till 3 a.m she did not leave the sides of her pups....we manged to feed her cold milk about 5 times every hourly...in fact when i tried to move cleo away from the pups...she came reboundind back from another open door ...back to her whining pups!!!

human desire for more produced stupendous human population and dramatic delirious effects on nature.assinging monetary values to functions performed by the earth for the benifts of people,these are so artificial...we have learned now..but et unwilling to apply the knowledge so gain to get immediate results...
earth with its terracentric values is in direct collusion course with our antropocentric model....we HAVE ALL COLLECTIVELY already screwedup the unique balance of physical,chemical biological conditions,proceesess of earth's rules.immediate..i mean immediate shift from doing ecosystem services to humans has be to advanced to services to the planet...there is no hope otherwise!!!

WE HAVE TO ACKNOLEDGE AND PRESERVE THE VIABILITY OF THIS BLUE ORB.there is absolutely no point now in testing the atmosspheric chemistry or earths energy...haiti...chile..tsunami's...poles melting...tornadoes...they are our serious pointers !! no other species has done this breakneck speed towards destruction of its own species,given the same period in time !!!

i would prefer,if drastic changes are individually taken...i mean personal level, in-house transformation,not waiting for laws.byelaws,dictats,commune co-operatives...may be a pipe dream eh!! :-(
one of my friend woulndt even acknowledge when i said "love destroys"...may be this is out of context ^_^.i have been water recycling in a very small way,avoiding plastics wherever possible,roof garden having over 12 trees( i still have 2 left after a botched replanting of some of these trees) ,ofcourse a VEGGIE ...but still have lots to do :-( .i was a bit overwhelmed at the immense hypnotised way many around me were going about..at some point doubt does seep in to say"hey may be u r over reacting"..u know :-)

2010

this year is a planned action year ...i feel it in my bones...lol...the day started with a midnight meditations and peace to all..!!the morning run in the beach was even more fun as the sun dodged the clouds....super sweet( payasam) i made..and a short meditations with thanks to all the loves and ME...followed with a extended breakfast with shyama and parveen...yeah a very energetic being both.we had such good laughs at all the pillows ,rice sacks,and balloons that walked about in human form at the palmgroove hotel lobby..hee..hee...devil kabbir

lunch with my dearest ayeesha at home....movie in the t.v for a while with a short nap...then a full round of calling back friends,texting,FB,and cool cool mint drinks in the beach with riaz and friends at the beasant nagar beach...thanks to you all ...great way to start 2010
